No2 Opus Place Luxury Condo Tower is Underway, Unveils Unit Mix

53-story building in Midtown Atlanta set to deliver 23 different floorplans in early 2020

Construction has commenced on No2 Opus Place, a forthcoming luxury condo project in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, and today the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices team, CITY HAUS, unveiled plans for the exclusive, 53-story building’s mix of stunning new homes.

When it officially opens its doors in spring 2020, No2 Opus Place will be comprised of 257 total luxury condos, priced from the mid-$400s and going up to ultra-luxe penthouse homes at $12 million. The thoughtfully curated floorplan mix includes pied-a-terre, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom homes ranging from around 625 square feet to 4,000 square feet on the building’s upper floors. Recently, additional homes on the smaller end of the spectrum were added to the project’s plans due to shifting market demand.

“We’ve seen strong interest from luxury buyers in No2 Opus Place since we first announced this landmark project,” said Dan Forsman, President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, CITY HAUS. “Now, as we head into a new year, we’re excited to unveil a curated collection of homes in a variety of different sizes so we can resonate with buyers who are looking for a large family residence, a high-end investment property or even a second home as a base for business travel. There’s a considerable demand for pied-a-terres and one-bedroom homes, especially in Atlanta’s urban core, and we’re nimble enough to alter our plans and fill that niche.”

Renowned Atlanta-based architecture firm Perkins + Will created 23 distinct, open floorplans for No2 Opus Place. Esteemed NY design firm, Champalimaud Design, curated the interior design of the common areas spaces and local Atlanta design firm, Harrison Design, advised on interior palettes. Residences will feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows and upscale finishes such as Taj Mahal Quartzite, Calacatta Gold Marble or Provenza Flooring. Every homeowner also will enjoy three levels of the Opus Club, including wellness and fitness programming, a resort-style pool deck with cabanas, outdoor dog run, IMAX screening room and golf simulators to name a few.

“Atlanta’s strong recent job growth is having a huge impact on attracting a new type of homebuyer to the market instead of looking to other major cities like Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are seeing a steady rise in demand for spacious one bedroom and large studios as more dual income families and affluent singles look for new homes in walkable urban cores,” said David Laube, principal of Noell Consulting Group. “Historically, developers have shied away from offering too many one bedrooms, but now we are seeing record setting sales for this type of product due to the lack of new luxury condominium projects. As high square footage becomes less important, developers are shifting their focus towards delivering residences that offer a community lifestyle with access to walkable amenities such as dining, retail, greenspaces, and work.”

While site work progresses at No2 Opus Place, which will become Atlanta’s tallest residential tower, prospective buyers can get a sense of the luxurious, urbane lifestyle the building offers at the $3 million sales center at 98 14th Street in the heart of Midtown. The sales center is equipped with the homes’ exact finishes and a to-scale project model.
