Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of the following six transactions totaling 43,628 square feet of commercial space in North and South Carolina.

Sales Transaction

TSN Realty, LLC purchased a 34,161-square-foot, former Haverty’s furniture store located at 7515 Two Notch Road in Columbia, SC from Haverty’s Furniture Companyfor $850,000. DRE’s Diana Teitsma brokered the sale on behalf of the seller.As tenant representative for Haverty’s in the Carolinas for over ten years, Teitsma has completed transactions for the company in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, Ashville, Fayetteville, and Wilmington, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina.

Lease Transactions

Leaderboard Branding leased 2,796 square feet ofoffice space in Quail Plaza located at 7621 Little Avenue in Charlotte. DRE’s Charles Neill and Hutch Farris represented the tenant, a pharmaceutical drug marketing and branding company, in the lease negotiations.

Hair Fairies leased 620 square feetof retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Providence Plaza located at 2935 Providence Road in Charlotte. DRE’s Charles Neil represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Providence Plaza include: Chipotle, Aqua Tots, Fresh Chef Kitchen, Poppy’s Bagels & More, The Little Gym, Massage Envy and Flywheel Sports.

Lease Renewals

Mario’s Pizza of Wendover renewed its lease for 2,698 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Wendover Village located at 4217-A West Wendover Avenue in Greensboro, NC. Neil represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Bed Bath & Beyond, Golf Galaxy, Five Below, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Cricket Wireless, and Nails N Spa.

GameStop renewed its lease for 2,100 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed South Square located at 4001 Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard in Durham, NC. Neil and Teitsma represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Target, Ross Dress for Less, Merle Norman, Office Depot, Wells Fargo, Great Clips, and Mattress Firm. South Square is fully occupied.

Manpower Group US renewed its lease for 1,253 square feet in the Divaris-leased and -managed Harper Hill Commons located at 131 Vinegar Hill Road in Winston-Salem, NC. Neil and Farris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Harris Teeter, 9 Round, Score More Sports, Papa John’s and Mac N Nelli’s.
