Bill Clark
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Atlanta announced Bill Clark, president of Stevens and Wilkinson’s Atlanta office, has been named president of AIA Atlanta.The 2018 board of directors was announced earlier this month at AIA’s Build Something Great event.
Clark has been an active member of AIA Atlanta since 1982. Hepreviously served as president-elect of AIA Atlanta in 2017 and development director in 2016. Throughhis involvement with the organization,Clarkhas played a crucial role in elevating the profession of architecture and fostering a bigger conversation about good designwithin the Atlanta community.
“It is an honor to be elected president of AIA Atlanta,” said Clark. “I look forward to continuing to help raise awareness among the public about the value of our profession, and I’m proud to work with such a prominent organization to help continue that education.”
With almost 40 years of experience, Clarkleads project teams for Stevens & Wilkinson’s education, government, cultural and commercial work.
In addition to AIA Atlanta, Clark is involved in various organizations, including the Georgia Association of State Facility Planners, the Construction Owners Association of America and the Rotary Club of Atlanta. Clark earned his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
