Corey Deal Joins GAHBA as Executive Officer

Charlie Bostwick, president of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA), welcomes Corey Deal as the organization’s new Executive Officer.

Until recently, Deal served as Executive Director of the Northeast Florida Builders Association in Jacksonville, where he managed operations since 2013. He had also worked there as Director of Government Affairs from 2006 – 2009. During his tenure as Executive Director, the Northeast Florida Builders Association increased its membership by 23%, and won the 2015 NAHB Membership Cup Award.

Deal holds a BBA degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Samford University, and he received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012. He is well-versed in legislative issues and government affairs, a vital part of his function serving the almost 1,000 members of the GAHBA.

“Corey is known for his team building and organizational talents. GAHBA’s Executive Committee and I are confident that Corey has the superb management skills required to lead and oversee our rapidly expanding organization, including GAHBA’s talented staff and influential Councils,” says Bostwick.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) is a 970-member, not-for-profit trade association affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Georgia and the National Association of Home Builders. The HBA is the tenth largest local homebuilders association in the nation and is dedicated to promoting, protecting and preserving home ownership by maintaining the housing industry as a viable economic force in the Atlanta area. The official charity of the HBA is HomeAid Atlanta, a non-profit organization that builds and renovates temporary housing for metro Atlanta homeless children, women and men.
