Julie Sellers

Atlanta law firm Pursley Friese Torgrimson partner Julie Sellers has been selected to the Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Atlanta’s Center for Leadership – Class of 2018.

Now in its ninth year, the ULI Center for Leadership is a nine-month program for emerging leaders in the real estate and land-use industries. The program, comprised of eight day-long sessions, focuses on the issues and leadership required to create a sustainable Atlanta region.

“I am excited and honored to join my fellow classmates to broaden my perspective on the issues facing the real estate industry and contribute to solution discussion for the land use issues facing our region,” said Sellers. “The Urban Land Institute provides significant resources and top level education for the Atlanta area.”

Sellers will support the Center’s efforts by lending her expertise in advocating zoning and land use positions of property owners, builders and developers in Georgia. Her knowledge of government functions related to zoning regulations and land use approvals, permits and planning will add a unique voice to ULI’s mission to broaden the conversation on land use.

The Center for Leadership provides a powerful local resource to help guide the responsible development of the Atlanta region by strengthening connections among area organizations that guide and influence Atlanta real estate development.

In addition to Sellers’ land use work at Pursley Friese Torgrimson, she maintains an active litigation practice helping a wide range of clients with real estate business, and other complex commercial disputes.
