Tower Place 100 Partners with Pianos for Peace from September 1-18

8/31/17

Buckhead’s iconic office building Tower Place 100 will install a baby grand piano in the main lobby in collaboration with Pianos for Peace. The vibrant piano painted by local artist Catalina Gomez Beuth will be on display from September 1-18 in collaboration with Pianos for Peace Festival, one of the largest public art display projects in Atlanta.

“The opportunity to showcase a piece of Atlanta’s artistic work at Tower Place 100 is one of our company’s many efforts to give back to Buckhead and the surrounding communities,” said Thomas Tropea, Senior Managing Director and EVP of Asset Management, Core Property Capital. “We continuously look to partner with organizations that align with our values, and Pianos for Peace does just that – promoting philanthropy while educating on the importance of art.”

Pianos for Peace transforms communities and uplifts lives by engaging artists in volunteer service programs. The nonprofit organization works to unite by building peace through art, music and education.

Tower Place 100 is one of 50 locations where the Pianos for Peace Festival will be featured and it will impact an estimated half a million Atlantans and visitors this year. All guests are welcome to view, play and enjoy the colorful pianos hand-painted by local and international volunteer artists in groundbreaking collaborations with Fulton County Arts & Culture, Atlanta Public Schools, IKEA and the City of Atlanta.

Following the campaign, all Pianos for Peace, including the one on display at Tower Place 100, will be donated to local schools, nursing homes, healthcare facilities, community centers and other organizations where volunteer artists will participate in yearlong meaningful programs making art accessible to all.
