In its recently-released 2018 rankings, Best Lawyers® honors Arnall Golden Gregory partner Robert L. Rothman as Lawyer of the Year for Litigation-First Amendment Law in metro Atlanta. This is the third time Mr. Rothman has won this recognition.

A Lawyer of the Year is an attorney with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Only one attorney is recognized as the Lawyer of the Year for each specialty and location.

Mr. Rothman is a partner in AGG’s Litigation Practice who focuses on assisting clients in evaluating and resolving complex business disputes, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution or litigation.

He handles complex business and commercial litigation in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and mediation. His cases have involved business contracts, partnership agreements, securities, business torts, fiduciary duties, commercial leases and media law issues.

A former professional journalist, Mr. Rothman has a particular interest in media law and has represented Tribune Media Company, Meredith Corporation, Fox News and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
