CBRE today announced that Eric Durden, MAI, has returned to CBRE as a Senior Managing Director. Mr. Durden is based out of Atlanta and serves as a leader for the Southeast region. In this role, Mr. Durden is responsible for growing the appraisal business across all property types throughout the Southeast, managing and retaining clients, and overseeing the team of appraisers across the region.
Mr. Durden has been in commercial real estate appraisal for over a decade, beginning his career with Duff & Phelps where he worked his way up from an associate to a manager of a large team. He then joined CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services as a Vice President and earned his MAI certification. Mr. Durden returns to CBRE, after creating and building an appraisal team at Colliers International.
His appraisals and consultations have encompassed real estate portfolio valuations, financial reporting, estate planning, highest and best use analysis, tax analysis, financing, litigation support, sale-leasebacks, and insurable value studies. Additionally, Mr. Durden has performed numerous appraisals involving the identification and measurement of tangible and intangible components of real property acquisitions for financial reporting purposes.
