Cresa, the world’s largest tenant-only commercial real estate firm, recently represented National DCP (NDCP) in a 111,384 SF lease at 101 Liberty Industrial Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253. Jim Bob Taylor, Managing Principal – Industrial Services, and RT Bowden, Vice President, with Cresa Atlanta represented National DCP in its lease negotiations.

Headquartered in Duluth, Ga., National DCP, a $2 billion supply chain management cooperative serving the franchisees of Dunkin’ Donuts, provides products to Dunkin’restaurants nationwide. The company’s mission is to provide its members with the absolute best service at the lowest possible sustainable cost, enabling them to operate and grow profitable businesses. The McDonough distribution center will be NDCP’s ninth nationwide and third in the Southeast.

The 111,385 SF facility features a 260’ deep building with 28 loading docks and 25 trailer parks. Because of the company’s unique distribution requirements, National DCP engaged Cresa to conduct an expansive search across Metro Atlanta to find the right facility to meet its needs.

Scott Carter, CEO of National DCP, stated, “McDonough is an excellent location to service our members as they expand in new markets. We thank Cresa for their thorough approach to finding and securing the right spacefor this important addition to our distribution network”

Jim Bob Taylor, Managing Principal with Cresa Atlanta, said, “The increased demand in warehouse space in the Metro Atlanta area over the past year has dropped vacancy to nearly 7%. With less product on the market and National DCP’s unique distribution requirements, we conducted extensive market research and analysis before finding the perfect facility.”

Steve Rowley, Vice President of Leasing at Liberty Property Trust, represented the building owner, Liberty Property Trust. The Liberty Distribution Center is located in the South Atlanta submarket in Henry County and provides immediate access to I-75.
