Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that Eric S. Fisher has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice. Prior to being named a board member, Fisher served as president of the Georgia Appleseed Young Professional Council (YPC) and was a member of the council’s Public School Discipline Hearing Representation Committee.

Last year, Fisher and his colleague Alison M. Ballard received the Georgia Appleseed’s 2016 Good Apple Award for their pro bono efforts in facilitating the Student Tribunal Project / Foster Child Representation program with the Georgia Appleseed YPC.

At Taylor English, Fisher is a member in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. He counsels clients in a wide variety of cases, including contractual and partnership disputes, class action defense, business torts, fiduciary duties, and employment disputes.

In addition to his involvement with Georgia Appleseed, Fisher is on the Anti-Defamation League’s Southeast Region Board of Trustees and National Civil Rights Committee. He also co-founded the Atlanta Young Jewish Attorneys Network (AYJAN) and is an adjunct professor of business law at Clayton State University.

Fisher earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
