Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that through the strategic acquisition of remote partners, the firm is expanding nationwide. This hybrid business model is the first of its kind and allows Taylor English to remain operating from its centralized headquarters in Atlanta. Combining the best aspects of a traditional law firm with seasoned attorneys managing their practices remotely throughout the United States, the new approach furthers Taylor English’s tradition of driving value to clients by securing senior, highly credentialed attorneys with big law and/or general counsel experience.
“Our aim is to marry our brick-and-mortar platform with attorneys from all over the country, and expand our geographic scope and service offerings to benefit our clients,” said Marc A. Taylor English's remote platform is comprised of partner-level attorneys who are fully integrated into the firm's business operations. All remote partners will be supported by innovative technology and a centralized staff in Atlanta, including marketing, business development, IT, accounting and operational support. To assist with integration into Taylor English's unique culture, each remote attorney will be paired with a senior-level attorney in Atlanta who will guide them through the firm’s infrastructure and value-centered approaches. Additionally, all attorneys – regardless of location – are given the same opportunities for upward movement, including equity partnership, in the firm.
Leading this initiative is Chris Wilson, formerly of FisherBroyles, a virtual law firm. Wilson’s unique perspective on the various virtual platforms in existence today, following his Am Law 200 experience at Troutman Sanders, has aided Taylor English’s ability to build an integrated business model that combines the best of both models while serving the needs of all attorneys at Taylor English regardless of their geographic location.
