President of Atlanta-based Passio Technologies to Speak at Transportation and Parking Conference

3/7/17

Passio Technologies will highlight its innovative parking and transit technology solutions at a spate of leading trade shows starting in March.

Passio President Mitch Skyer will speak at the Mid-South Transportation & Parking Association (MSTPA) 2017 Annual Spring Conference and Trade Show, held March 13-15 in Knoxville, Tenn.

Skyer will present “Innovative Interaction: How to Tickle Your Passengers Without Getting Smacked!” at 11 a.m. on March 14.

“A system’s reputation is what defines its success, and passengers’ perception of service often becomes the reality — right or wrong,” Skyer said. “When this view paints an unfair picture, organizational leadership is fighting an uphill battle against misconceptions and incorrect facts.

“During this session, we’ll discuss the tools and strategies necessary to identify what issues are affecting an organization’s reputation and how to communicate the positive aspects of performance and service,” Skyer said. “Our discussion will include sharing strategies that have worked at peer institutions and discuss the opportunity to develop a plan to engage passengers so leadership understands how systems can be improved.”

Passio will also showcase its solutions at the New England Parking Council (NEPC) Annual Conference, held April 2-4 in Boston; at NACAS South on April 23-26 in New Orleans; at the APTA 2017 Bus & Paratransit Conference in Reno, Nevada, on May 7-10; and at the 2017 International Parking Institute (IPI) Conference & Expo in New Orleans on May 21-24.
