Stites & Harbison’s Atlanta Office Grows with the Additions of Employment Attorneys Christine Tenley and Nina Maja Bergmar

Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorneys Christine Tenley and Nina Maja Bergmar to its Atlanta office.  Tenley and Bergmar join the firm’s Employment Law Service Group as Member (Partner) and attorney, respectfully.

Tenley’s practice focuses on a wide range of employment law disciplines, including restrictive covenants and trade secrets litigation, employment litigation under federal and state employment statutes, traditional labor matters, and wage and hour collective actions.  She counsels employers on complex employment matters, such as high level executive terminations, reductions in force, harassment/discrimination investigations, and disciplinary decisions.  She also drafts executive employment, independent contractor, non-disclosure and separation agreements; restrictive covenants; training materials; and employment policies and handbooks.

Bergmar’s practice focuses on employment discrimination, wage and hour compliance, restrictive covenants and related tort and contract law.  She also has significant experience in business immigration and immigration compliance, including H-1B Specialty Occupation visas, L-1 Intra-Company Transferee visas, J-1 Trainee visas, O-1 Extraordinary Ability visas, and employment-based green cards.  Additionally, she counsels employers on I-9 and E-Verify compliance and other immigration-related issues.

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Tenley was Counsel and Bergmar was an attorney with the same boutique employment law firm in Atlanta.  Tenley earned her J.D. from Tulane University.  She is admitted to practice in Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana.  Bergmar is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and is admitted to practice in Georgia.
