TSCG Introduces New Value Retailer To Metro Atlanta

Clubstore Outlet comes to Paulding Commons, joins Academy Sports, Hobby Lobby and Planet Fitness.

The Shopping Center Group, one of the largest, privately owned, retail real estate advisory firms in the United States with offices coast-to-coast, announces Clubstore Outlet as the latest tenant to join the growing retail lineup at the recently redeveloped Paulding Commons in Hiram, Ga. Making its Georgia debut, this value retailer offers quality products from big box retailers and wholesale clubs at a discount of 25-90%.

Clubstore Outlet joins Academy Sports, Hobby Lobby and Planet Fitness, as well as Aspen Dental, Visionworks and Jersey Mike’s Subs at the 209,000-square foot retail center fronting Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway. The non-membership discount retailer is scheduled to open this 7,480-square foot store by April.

The joint venture of Chicago-based Walton Street Capital and Houston-based NewQuest Investment Company (a subsidiary of NewQuest Properties) acquired Paulding Commons in November 2013.

Following renovations that exceeded $2 million, Paulding Commons is 92% leased with 20,000 square feet available,including an 11,500 junior anchor box and small shop space ranging from 1,050-3,000 square feet. According to Fuller, TSCG is pursuing complimentary service, retail and restaurant uses to fill the remaining space.

Paulding Commons is located in the heart of Hiram’s retail corridor at the main intersection of Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway and State Road 92/Hiram Acworth Highway. Nearly 50,000 cars travel daily through the intersection,and 81,000 consumers with an average household income of almost $77,000 live within five miles of the center.
