The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, has named Dineshkumar "Dinesh" Chokkalingam as banquet chef.
In his new role, Chokkalingam will oversee all banquet events, develop menus and ensure an exceptional guest experience by upholding The Westin’s standards. He will also assist with operations at the property’s in-house restaurant, SAVOR bar + kitchen. He brings more than 11 years of experience to his role and most recently served as banquet chef at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa.
Prior to his roles with Westin, Chokkalingam served as the executive chef and restaurant manager of Taste of India restaurant in Savannah, where he directed both back- and front-of-house operations. He gained international prowess as the executive chef at the American School of Mumbai and as the commis chef and chef de partie at L'Auberge At The Plough Restaurant in England.
