Ryan, LLC, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, have moved in to office space at 271 17th Street in Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta, CBRE announced today.
CBRE’s Jeff Keppen represented building owner CBRE Global Investors.
“Ryan is a perfect fit for 271 17th Street and Atlantic Station,” Keppen said. “The building provides the kind of creative space that fast-growing firms crave, and Atlantic Station’s vibrant, intown and walkable neighborhood is the type of environment that the employees of these companies desire.”
Ryan is an award-winning global tax services firm, with the largest indirect and property tax practices in North America and the seventh largest corporate tax practice in the United States.
Ryan decided to consolidate its Downtown and Buckhead offices, seeking space in Midtown and specifically Atlantic Station, in order to have access to an amenity-rich environment to enhance the company’s own culture, as well as proximity to number of other professional services firms in the area. The efficiency of the floor plates, as well as accessibility from numerous parts of the city, factored into Ryan’s decision to relocate.
“Atlantic Station provides us with an unmatched ability to recruit and retain talent, which is a major initiative of any firm today,” said Shane Moncrief, Principal in Charge of Ryan’s Atlanta office and Leader of its national Commercial Property Tax practice. “As a global gateway, Atlanta is a strategic hub for Ryan, and our presence in this market allows us to further enhance our ability to deliver exceptional service to clients with operations in the Southeast.”
Ryan’s Atlanta office provides full-service tax services to national clients, including property tax, international tax, fuels and excise tax, sales and use tax, tax technology, and abandoned and unclaimed property.
“Momentum continues to be strong in Midtown as a destination for companies looking for an urban infill, mixed-use environment that helps attract millennials,” said Jake Mota of CBRE Global Investors. “But beyond offering a prime live-work-play location at Atlantic Station, we have focused on making this building particularly desirable by anticipating and accommodating tenants’ needs and creating a pre-eminent environment for innovation. This is a strategy we are implementing with all of our assets in the Atlanta market to help tenants attract and retain young professionals.”
Midtown is known for its ease of attracting top talent and was recently named the top tech submarket in Atlanta, according to CBRE’s Tech Thirty report.
