TSW, a full-service planning, architecture and landscape architecture firm headquartered in Midtown (www.tsw-design.com) has promoted three staff members to the position of Associate.
- Alex Fite-Wassilak, LEED BD+C is a community planner and architectural intern who joined TSW in 2014. With expertise in zoning codes, overlay districts, urban design and community planning, Fite-Wassilak has worked on several projects, including the North Buckhead Master Plan, the Clarkston Comprehensive Plan, the City of Perry’s Form-based Code and the Cherokee Street Corridor Gateway for the City of Kennesaw. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the American Planning Association and the Georgia Planning Association, in addition to serving on the Board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and his Master of Architecture and Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech. He lives in the Old Fourth Ward.
- Lionel L.W. Johnson, AIA, AICP, RA, LEED BD+C is a registered architect and certified planner who focuses on green building strategies and innovative design techniques that work within local contexts. Johnson has worked on planning projects in North America, South America, The Caribbean and China, including Las Catalinas in Costa Rica. He has also worked on various architectural projects such as the City of Suwanee Police Substation and other residential projects. He joined TSW in 2009 and earned both a Bachelor and Master of Architecture at Andrews University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association and USGBC. He lives in East Atlanta.
- Sarah McColley, AICP is a planner and landscape designer who joined TSW in 2013 and specializes in urban design, particularly parks and greenspace design. Among the TSW projects she has worked on are the South Downtown Transit Station Enhancements Plan and the Gulf Shores, Alabama Public Beach Master Plan. She earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech. McColley is a member of the American Planning Association and an associate member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She lives in Midtown.
