Atlanta Apartment Association Announces 2016 S.T.A.R. Award Winners

The Atlanta Apartment Association (AAA) has announced the winners of its annual Shine to Achieve Recognition (S.T.A.R.) awards, honoring local apartment professionals who go above and beyond to support their companies, communities and the multifamily industry. AAA Chair Jamie Teabo hosted the award ceremony at Cobb Galleria.

“We have the most incredible members who are truly committed to going above and beyond in their jobs day-in and day-out,” said Teabo. “The S.T.A.R. awards are a great way to show appreciation for their dedication, creativity and contribution to the apartment industry and our organization.”

The organizations that donated the most to the Food-A-Thon, AAA’s annual food and fund drive benefitting Atlanta Community Food Bank, were also announced.

The S.T.A.R. awards honor AAA member organization employees who are consistently the best at what they do. A full list of honorees is below:

Peggy Waskom Award: Hoa Nguyen - Matrix Residential

The Peggy Waskom award is designed to recognize an individual with an extraordinary life story that exemplifies the perseverance, grace and tenacity that Peggy Waskom brought to the Atlanta multifamily housing industry.
