Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of four leases for a total of 20,377 square feet of new and renewed commercial space in North Carolina and South Carolina.Lease negotiations were handled by agents of the Charlotte office of Divaris Real Estate.

Safari Nation leased 16,294 square feet of retail space in South Park Shopping Center located at 3191 Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Safari Nation is a place where children of all ages can jump, bounce and play in a jungle of massive inflatables. Kids enjoy an aerobic adventure that includes jungle themed obstacle courses, a zip line, slides, and bounce houses. DRE’s Jessica Peadon represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, South Park Shopping Center, LLC.

Socastee Spirits, a liquor and wine store, renewed its lease for 1,500 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Socastee Commons located at Dick Pond Road in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. DRE’s Peadon and Charles Neil represented the landlord, Socastee Myrtle Beach, LLC, in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Bi-Lo, Great Wall, Hair Studio, and Cricket Wireless.

Mobile Store Operators leased 1,383 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Patterson Place located at 3604 Witherspoon Boulevard in Durham, NC. The T-Mobile Stores, operated by Mobile Store Operators, provide their customers with the best sales and service in the wireless telecommunications industry. Other tenants in the property include: Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW, Sherwin-Williams, Kroger, Menchie’s, Panera Bread, Learning Express and Music & Arts. DRE’s Neil and Diana Teitsma represented the landlord, Patterson Place Durham, LLC, in the lease negotiations.

Dat Thanh Van leased 1,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Parkway Village located at 3531 Parkway Village Circle in Winston-Salem, NC. The nail salon joins the current roster of tenants in Parkway Village that includes: Subway, China Kitchen, H&R Block, T-Mobile, Burger King, and Game Stop. Peadon represented the landlord, SCG-Parkway Village, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
