iDiscovery Solutions. (iDS), an award-winning, legal technology and information governance expert services firm, announced today that Director Jennifer Brennan will be a featured moderator at The Exchange Information Governance Forum. The event, from Today’s General Counsel Institute (TGCI) and the Information Governance Initiative (IGI), will be held on November 3 at the Buckhead Club in Atlanta.
Designed for in-house counsel and moderated by industry leaders, the highly-interactive colloquium provides insight and advice regarding major IG challenges facing organizations today. The CLE program consists of a series of seven in-depth, roundtable discussions.
Ms. Brennan, a former partner at Gilbert LLP and an expert in managing projects throughout the entire EDRM lifecycle, will co-moderate Session 4 at 1:00 p.m., “The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and IG: What You Can Do Today.”
The session will focus on the FRCP amendments and how they laid the groundwork for fundamentally changing the way courts adjudicate proportionality and sanctions in eDiscovery, giving IG practitioners a new level of certainty in taking control of their information. The moderators will discuss the practical impact of the FRCP changes and what organizations must be doing today to address and take advantage of these changes in their IG programs. Jason Baron and Jay Brudz of Drinker Biddle, and Ronni Solomon of King and Spalding, will join Ms. Brennan.
Attendees will be able to share experiences and collaboratively develop solutions with corporate and legal experts. Featured speakers in Atlanta include industry leaders and counsel from the IGI, Aflac, UBS, Georgia Power, Drinker Biddle, and more. CLE credits are offered for each session.
