Consulting magazine has named HDH Advisors one of the industry’s Best Small Firms to Work For. HDH Advisors is one of only 15 firms of its size recognized out of hundreds worldwide. What’s more, it is the only winner in the locations where it has offices, and it finished near the top in two key categories.

Every year, Consulting asks its readers to identify standout firms. This year, the judges reviewed thousands of surveys from employees and partners at than 350 firms worldwide, one-quarter of which are outside the U.S. Judging criteria include career development, compensation and benefits, culture, work/life balance, firm leadership and job satisfaction.

HDH Advisors finished in the Top 10 in the Client Engagement and Career Development categories. When ranked by service line, the firm was one of only five ranked for Strategy. Other honorees are divided among Operations Management, Human Resources and Information Technology service lines.

The publication noted that the firm focuses on allowing teammates to learn, explore and create opportunities in new areas. “When people enjoy what they do, they excel at it,” Corley Thomas, Director of Operations, told the publication. “That’s the most critical driver behind the quality of service delivered to our clients … Everyone finds passion in different aspects of what we do, but it’s that core enthusiasm which has helped us develop a strong culture over the past few years.” Click here to read the entire article.

Respondents also answered positively to questions about how often the firm meets client needs. They also emphasize communication. “The more we communicate, the better we can develop each other, and the stronger we’ll be in the future,” Thomas concluded.
