The Midtown community will transform into a whimsical winter wonderland

Colony Square is excited to announce its inaugural “Season on the Square,” an artful celebration of the Holiday season. As part of the celebration, local artists will help transform the property into a whimsical winter wonderland with 20 uniquely painted Christmas trees displayed throughout Colony Square. Throughout the month, Colony Square will also host several holiday themed happenings for the Midtown community to enjoy.

Throughout November, 20 Atlanta artists will channel their creativity to paint 20 eight-foot-tall Christmas trees around the square. The program, called Festivity + Trees, encourages artists to create original works inspired by Colony Square’s theme: “The Art of Modern Life.” Colony Square will unveil the fantastical trees on Dec. 3 to officially kick off the Holiday season.

“Festivity + Trees marries Christmas joy with the vibrancy and talent of the surrounding arts community,” said Liz Gillespie, vice president of marketing at North American Properties, the developer behind Colony Square. “We are thrilled to be working with such talented artists, and we can’t wait to see how their imaginations are manifested on the 20 Christmas trees.
