Columbia Property Trust Sells Suburban Denver Building for $19.5 Million

10/17/16

Columbia Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: CXP) today announced that it has exited the Denver market with the sale of a vacant suburban office building located at 9127 South Jamaica Street in Englewood, Colorado, to ToastmastersInternational for $19.5 million in gross proceeds.

Toastmasters, a world leader in communication and leadership development, intends to relocate its world headquarters to the 106,575-square-foot building. Last month, Columbia also sold three adjacent buildings at the suburban campus that are fully leased to global engineering and construction firm CH2M to a separate buyer.

This sale is in line with Columbia’s previously announced plan to dispose of roughly $700 million to $1 billion of non-core assets in 2016.
