Matt Fearin Joins New National Trade Association Dedicated to Promoting Technology Security Policies

The National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC) today announced that Matt Fearin, Chief Information Security Officer for Epsilon®, has been appointed to serve on the NTSC Board of Directors as a Founding Board Member.

NTSC is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, headquartered in Georgia and created as a spinoff of the Technology Association of Georgia. NTSC’s mission is to help reverse the accelerating pace of disruption to the information systems of our nation’s critical infrastructure, American companies and the general public.

NTSC will advocate concerning regulatory and legislative policies that impact the technology security industry. Also, NTSC will conduct educational thought-exchange forums and deliver professional development programs to equip members with innovative cybersecurity solutions.

Consequently, Matt’s extensive knowledge of the current regulatory landscape will be invaluable as NTSC unites stakeholders around policy standards for the information security industry.”

In his role as CISO of Epsilon, Matt has enterprise-wide responsibility for information security and compliance, including policy, procedures and guidelines for Epsilon and its affiliates. Matt also oversees the security risk management functions and drives the direction of the information security architecture. Additionally, he manages the ongoing execution of applications, data protection, voice and data communications systems as well as monitoring, analysis, detection and incident response processes for all information security systems. Matt previously held leadership roles in information security at Capital One and JPMorgan Chase.

NTSC’s second board of directors meeting will be held in December in Atlanta, GA.
