Atlanta area foodies will soon get a taste of The Halal Guys. After 25 years in business, New York City's most popular food cart will open a brick-and-mortar location in Chamblee. Known for their famous beef gyro sandwiches, chicken-and-rice platters and "secret" white sauce, The Halal Guys’ menu offers a mix of various American Halal food.
The restaurant, known for its never-ending lines, has already been well received in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Northern and Southern California. The Chamblee location will open this fall at 4929 Buford Hwy Suite A—in the heart of the Atlanta’s international food corridor, just steps away from the popular Canton House.
“I’ve never traveled to New York without a late-night stop at one of The Halal Guys locations," said Moynul Chowdhury, operating franchisee of the Chamblee location. “Having lived in the Metro Atlanta area for more than 20 years, I’m excited to bring New York’s popular beef gyro, chicken and falafel platters and The Halal Guys world famous white sauce to Atlanta!”
The Halal Guys aims to be different and encourage patrons across America to break out of their culinary comfort zone by experiencing something unique. They pride themselves on only using high-quality products like their chicken, which has never been frozen and is marinated and seasoned overnight, then cooked and chopped on the grill and served piping hot. The Halal Guys' mission is to ensure that every customer leaves happy and with a satisfaction that brings them back again and again.
