Amorino Opens First Southeastern Store in Atlanta's Lenox Square Mall

8/28/16

Italian gelateria Amorino opened inside Atlanta’s popular Lenox Square Mall on August 8.

The European gelato brand is bringing the magic of authentic traditional Italian gelato to the mall’s center court, just across from Victoria’s Secret and Madewell, on the lower level.

Amorino is known for their unique flower shaped cone, with unlimited flavors available on each creation. Each gelato recipe requires ingredients sourced from worldwide locales so they’re at their peak when used. Inside the shop you’ll find an assortment of traditional and seasonal flavors – think mangos from India, vanilla from Madagascar, chocolate from Ecuador, and Pistachio Bronte from Sicily. The eatery also sells other decadent treats, including gelato-filled macarons, specialty coffee, crepes, waffles, hot cocoa and chocolates. Additionally, Amorino gelato is all natural and Amorino sorbets are verified Vegan.

“We’re so excited to open Amorino’s first store in the southeast and partner with Lenox Square Mall,” said franchise owner Samer Zravik. “The buzz and excitement has been brewing since we began construction on our kiosk store, and it’s been amazing to hear how many people have dropped by with their personal Amorino stories from other stores around the world.”

Founded in 2002 by two Italian childhood friends, Amorino is the very essence of traditional Italian gelato. With numerous shops all over the world, Amorino differentiates itself through its iconic presentation of the gelato as a flower, constructed petal by petal with as many flavors as you want. Amorino is an international brand with 150 stores worldwide and 15 stores located in The United States.

Amorino arrived in the United States in 2011 with the first store in the West Village, New York. There has since been an important expansion of the brand through franchisees opening new stores across the states. The edible gelato flower is now a symbol of Italian craftsmanship and exquisite flavor. Its most prominent characteristics are the natural ingredients and respect for the Italian tradition. In essence, you don’t have to go to Italy anymore to have a real Italian gelato.
