The Summit at Fritz Farm, a $156 million mixed-use development located in Lexington, Kentucky, has added CRÚ Food & Wine Bar to its diverse list of restaurants set to open at the property in spring 2017. As the state’s first location, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar will bring a sophisticated wine experience to Lexington.

CRÚ Food & Wine Bar demystifies the world of wine by making hundreds of wines accessible in an elegant yet casually hip environment. Offering more than 300 selections, some 80 premium wines by the glass, 15 wine flights that change daily and Napa style foods for pairing, the staff at CRÚ Food & Wine Bar prides itself on educating customers and helping them pick the right selection for their occasion and price point.

“We chose The Summit at Fritz Farm because it's a one-of-a-kind, spectacular project that will attract people from all over Kentucky and surrounding states,” added Patrick Colombo, president and CEO of CRÚ Food & Wine Bar. “We also have a lot of faith in Bayer Properties because they do a great job cultivating these properties and they have secured a great list of tenants so far.”

Since 2002, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar has been the recipient of the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator, which recognizes the world’s best restaurants for their commitment to providing a “well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.” There are currently 11 CRÚ Food & Wine Bar locations nationwide, as well as three airport locations.

“CRÚ Food & Wine Bar is perfect for the refined foodies and shoppers that will be at The Summit at Fritz Farm because it will provide a relaxed and intimate location to gather with loved ones while offering a stunning assortment of wine and food,” said Jeffrey A. Bayer, president and CEO of Bayer Properties. “With the more than 20 new-to-market retailers we have secured for the property, The Summit at Fritz Farm will have an environment unlike anything currently in Kentucky.”

In addition to CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, The Summit at Fritz Farm boasts a carefully curated list of exciting dining experiences including Honeywood, a new concept restaurant from local six-time James Beard award nominee Ouita Michel, The Barn, the first artisan food hall concept in the region and top national brands like Shake Shack and Blue Sushi.
