eVestment Lands on the Inc. 5000 list for the 10th Consecutive Year

Inc. magazine today ranked Atlanta-based eVestment, the global leader in institutional data and analytics, on its 35th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. This is the 10th consecutive year eVestment has appeared on the list.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment – independent businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.

“Very few companies make this list for 10 years in a row, so it’s a great honor for eVestment to join this exclusive group,” said eVestment Co-Founder and CEO Jim Minnick. “I attribute our decade of growth to our constant focus on listening to our clients and then exceeding their expectations and to the talented people we’ve been able to recruit who turn that client feedback into innovative, user-friendly and high-value solutions.”

The 2016 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 23) is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and rankings and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

"The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”

Over the past year, eVestment has innovated in a variety of areas that have supported the company’s continued growth. The company launched a revised version of its Analytics platform that took into account findings from more than a year of client study, focus groups and internal usability research to reimagine the solution from the ground up, making it one of the most user-friendly and intuitive big data solutions available to the institutional investment community. eVestment also to expanded its private equity performance analytics capabilities to meet the needs of institutional investors, consultants and private equity managers.

While growing its business, eVestment has continued to rank high on local Atlanta and national top workplaces lists. Fortune Magazine and Great Place to Work named eVestment among the top employers in the United States for technology workers and Millennials and the No. 15 mid-sized company overall in the country at which to work. Locally this year, eVestment was named the No. 2 mid-sized employer in metro Atlanta by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the area’s major daily newspaper.
