Kelly Lim Joins Columbia Property Trust as Vice President, Eastern Region

Columbia Property Trust, a real estate investment trust that owns and operates Class-A office buildings concentrated in New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., today announced that Kelly Lim has joined the company as Vice President, Eastern Region. In his new role, Mr. Lim will focus on the New York market, managing and maximizing the value of Columbia’s four existing New York assets, as well as sourcing and executing on new value-creating investment opportunities for Columbia in New York.

Mr. Lim will join Columbia’s Eastern Region team, which currently manages 3.1 million square feet of prime office space spread among seven prestigious office properties in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Boston, and is led by Senior Vice President Adam Popper.

Mr. Lim has over 11 years of commercial real estate experience, the majority of which has been concentrated in the New York market. Prior to joining Columbia, he spent over six years with Rockwood Capital, where he managed a diverse portfolio of value-add and core-plus properties and supported the company’s acquisitions efforts on the East Coast. During that time, Mr. Lim managed a portfolio of nearly 2.4 million square feet of office assets in the New York and Boston markets and helped execute nearly $2 billion in acquisitions and dispositions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lim worked at Clarion Partners, where he served in both acquisitions and asset management roles, and, prior to that, he served in the real estate advisory group at Duff & Phelps. Mr. Lim earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and is a CFA charterholder.
