Hub Magazine and Diversity Game Changers in Technology

Technology Association of Georgia’s Hub Magazine releases issue focused on diversity in technology.

Jacqueline Parker, vice president at Arketi Group, was recently recognized as a “Diversity Game Changer in Technology” in the July issue of Hub Magazine, the bi-monthly magazine published by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Parker leads PR initiatives in key accounts including Cox Business, Equifax Global Consumer Services and NCR Small Business.

Georgia is fast becoming the place for women and minorities in the tech industry. Atlanta is among the Top 50 Cities for Diversity in STEM and ranks no. 3 in the “Top 5 Cities for Minorities in Computing.” The Diversity in Tech Issue of Hub Magazine celebrates the state’s inclusive ecosystem for innovation.

TAG is one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation. The Diversity Game Changers in Technology list identifies minority and women innovators who are leading the Peach State’s technology industry.

“Congratulations to all the nominees! It’s an honor to be recognized among Georgia’s leading movers and shakers driving changes in the technology industry,” Parker said. “Georgia’s diversity, in addition to the state’s concerted efforts in technology and STEM education are key elements helping Georgia flourish as an “innovation center” and the tech hub of the south.”

In addition to the Game Changers list, the issue features Teresa White, President of Aflac U.S. on the cover; profiles South Metro Atlanta’s Fayetteville, GA; showcases Georgia’s election technology upstarts; and provides a recap of the biggest technology headlines and more.
