Collaboration has moved from buzzword to proven success. To celebrate these successes, nominations are now being accepted for the 4th Annual Social Savvy Awards. The Social Savvy Awards recognize companies, individuals and new this year, work spaces, which promote and support collaboration, a catalyst for innovation and engagement both within a company and externally.
The ‘social’ nature of the awards reflects that sharing or collaborative actions and cultures that have blossomed as corporate collaborative tools, leadership and social media channels have changed the way companies and customers engage one another.
“Collaboration is better, faster and cheaper,” said TAG Social & Collaboration chair, Hal Schlenger. “You get better solutions when it comes from more than one or two contributors. And it’s faster and cheaper because technology is available to support the culture and processes of being social.”
Nominations are being accepted for 3 categories.

-Hubtopia’s SPaCE Awards for Innovative for Best Innovative Centers
-Best Recognition Program
The Hubtopia SPaCE (Special Places and Creative Environments) Award for Best Innovative Centers is presented in partnership with TAG's Hub Magazine. Hubtopia is a regular feature in the magazine which profiles the creative cultures, places and spaces in Georgia's Innovation Economy.
A showcase of the finalists’ contributions and awards will be announced at the 2016 TAG Social Savvy Awards Banquet on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5:30-8:30 pm at General Assembly location at Ponce City Market (675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308). Additionally, a panel discussion will be held on the topic of “Innovation and Collaboration in the Workplace.” The panel will be moderated by Anna Ruth Williams, 2015 Early Stage Entrepreneur of the Year and founder of AR|PR.
