Penelope Moceri
The Atlanta Apartment Association (AAA) has promoted Penelope Moceri to the position of Director of Government Affairs. Moceri previously served as Regulatory Affairs Manager.
“Penny has been an incredibly valuable asset to our team over the years,” said Jim Fowler, president of AAA. “I am confident that she will do a fantastic job managing AAA’s government affairs work as we continue to advance the apartment industry.”
Moceri came to AAA in 2008, and has worked tirelessly to represent the apartment industry in legislative and regulatory affairs matters across both the state of Georgia and city of Atlanta. In her new role, Moceri will maintain and develop important relationships in the areas of health, sustainability and public safety and serve as a representative for the multifamily residential industry and its residents in the governmental sphere.
In addition to her work within AAA, Moceri has participated in the Atlanta Citizens Police Academy and represents the apartment industry on several coalitions including Healthy Homes Georgia and one working to promote smoke-free communities in Georgia.
Moceri, a Colorado native, moved to Atlanta in 2000 and lives in Ormewood Park with her husband, Paul, and two Boston terriers.
