eVestment Moves to New Perimeter Center Headquarters

6/28/16

June 27 marked eVestment’s first day at its new headquarters building at 100 Glenridge Point Parkway in the fast-growing and increasingly tech-centric Perimeter Center area of northern Atlanta. The institutional investment data and analytics company will initially lease and occupy approximately 70,000 square feet at the building, which has been extensively renovated to offer employees a bright, colorful and open industrial loft-like environment.

eVestment will occupy three full floors and space on two additional floors of the five-story, 100,000-square-foot building. The long-term lease features renewal options as well as options to expand into the entire building.

“This new building is really aimed at fulfilling two goals,” said eVestment co-founder Heath Wilson. “No. 1, providing space for our existing employees with room to grow. No. 2, to provide the kind of environment that allows us to continue to attract and retain top talent. To that end, we’re doing some interesting things on the design front to create the collaborative, open workplace that will help support the work environment we are striving to create.”

According to Wilson, those include:

·         An onsite fitness facility to align with eVestment’s focus on employee health.

·         A “community” kitchen and breakroom space that flows from indoor to outdoor with large, industrial garage doors. This space will provide an alternative environment for company meetings or a casual space to have lunch, a cup of coffee or enjoy fresh air.

·         Functional group “neighborhoods” that allow teams to organize in their own space while maximizing the benefits of the open, collaborative environment.

·         Rolling video units and white boards to promote creative thinking and enable quick viewing of product design.

·         A large area for weekly company-wide team lunches and other large meetings.

·         Several additional breakrooms throughout the space with pantries and refrigerators stocked with healthy drinks and snacks.

The building is owned and managed by a local joint venture partnership between Pope & Land Enterprises and NORO Management. Atlanta-based design firm Cooper Carry oversaw the design of the renovations.

Cooper Carry’s design transforms this traditional suburban office building into a tech-style village adding enhanced outdoor gathering spaces and additional green space. Inside there is an industrial chic sophistication with communal seating including plywood picnic tables, bar-style stools, open work stations and even graffiti walls.

The building’s Central Perimeter location offers easy access to interstate highways, major surface streets and MARTA bus and rail lines and is also close to a wide variety of shopping, dining and fitness options. The area has also become a major technology employment center for the metro Atlanta area. The combination of these attributes make the location attractive for current and future eVestment employees from all over metro Atlanta.

“Atlanta is undeniably a national and global tech hub,” said Wilson. “There is quite a bit of tech talent and a lot of companies fighting for that talent. When combined with the success we are having as a company, this building will be one more way eVestment can show current and potential employees we are committed to being an amazing place to grow a career.”
