Bland previously led marketing efforts for Simon Property Group at Phipps Plaza

Banyan Street Capital has announced the appointment of Leslie Bland as Director of Marketing for Peachtree Center. Bland will oversee the marketing, branding and promotion of Peachtree Center, which includes six office towers and a retail hub in downtown Atlanta.

Bland joins Peachtree Center from Simon Property Group where she was the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Buckhead’s Phipps Plaza. She was instrumental in helping to guide the retail mall through a major renovation and overseeing event planning, community relations and guest services.

Banyan Street Capital recapitalized Peachtree Center in 2014 after a long association with the property. As it prepares for a major revitalization of the iconic development, it has recently appointed CBRE to oversee retail leasing and continues its relationship with JLL for office leasing. Over the past two years, Banyan Street has introduced new chef- driven food concepts at Peachtree Center including an outdoor green market and three new restaurants and has also created highly customizable, tech-focused office space, attracting new tenants such as Web.com and Fifth Group Restaurants.

Bland is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and brings 10 years of retail experience to Banyan.
